It’s too bad that our province and its citizens have to endure an agonizing inquiry into the Muskrat Falls Project.
My opinion is that “it is what it is,” the project will be completed and our province and Government will have to deal with the challenges moving forward.
Once the inquiry is completed, I believe a large percentage of citizens in the province aren’t going to care about the findings, most will say it’s more wasted time and money.
It seems to be that the few that will actually endorse or support the project publicly will never have to worry about a power bill increasing or possibly doubling.

Letter: Was Muskrat Falls a prudent investment?
Many will say it was the right decision for the future of Newfoundland and Labrador, and maybe there right. Most people I believe though aren’t looking 30 years down the road, there living now, raising families now, trying to live their best life with what they have. Whether this project was handed down to the current Liberal government is irrelevant, it’s time to take the politics out of the discussion, it’s time for a plan for the future instead of investigating the mistakes from the past. In the end, will the inquiry really hold anyone accountable?
I think we all know that answer.
