Didn’t we start out with this very type of ambitious plan for Muskrat Falls? Where did that get us. Is there any difference with this? There are cheaper sources of energy to be had than Muskrat Falls, and there are cheaper sources of oil to be had than off our shores.

This is just another pie-in-the-sky dream of this Liberal government.

We want to shut down Holyrood because of expense and emissions; would that not be the same plan for other jurisdictions across the country and the world? Don't forget about electric vehicles — is the same demand for gas going to be there in 12 years as it is today?

This is just another pie-in-the-sky dream of this Liberal government.

The people of Newfoundland and Labrador cannot wait 12 years to have enough income to pay light bills, mortgages, car payments, groceries, etc. — they need it now.

This is more about securing votes in the next provincial election than the future.
