Tuesday, May 15 was Nakba Day, the “Day of Catastrophe” for all Palestinians.

They mark it to remember when, in 1948, militant Zionists, (Jewish supremacists) forced 800,000 (most of them) out of homes and towns at gun point. Imagine if this had happened to Newfoundlanders and the world neither believed nor cared.

After massacres of Palestinians, (indigenous semites) at Deir Yassin and elsewhere most knew they would be murdered if they stayed.

Sephardic Jews, (also indigenous semites) had lived peaceably beside Muslims and Christians in Palestine for 12 centuries.

But all this changed when the British marched into Jerusalem in December, 1917, bringing with them a militant Zionist brigade under David Ben-Gurion.

With much international banking help and colluding western governments, (Canada’s, too) militant Zionists have since grown into a prospering rogue state while still expelling, terrorizing and murdering indigenous Palestinians.

In one century, that former peace is now gone, displaced by the well-earned hatred of hundreds of millions of Arabs and Muslims. World Jewry should be very alarmed at this for it endangers Jews everywhere.

Modern Israel is now a country of about 8 million plus, (about the population of Quebec) in about the size of our Northern Peninsula, yet it has the fourth most lethal military on Earth, hundreds of nukes and the unstinting military and financial backing of the U.S.

With this weaponry and billions more from U.S. taxpayers, Israel has no one to fear yet it makes almost constant war on one or another of its Arab neighbours, most recently Syria and next will be Iran. The world should be very alarmed at this.

Imagine if militant foreigners on the Northern Peninsula had such weapons and were trying to either drive us all out of their “promised land” or else kill us. That’s what’s been happening to Palestinians for 70 years.

Zionist Jews can believe or claim to believe what nonsense they wish. But they’ve been doing unto others for a century what they’d rather not have done unto themselves. This is in clear violation of international law and UN resolutions and in clear violation of the Golden Rule, the one commandment thou shalt not break. (See Talmud Shabbat 31, Matthew 7:12, the UN Declaration of Universal Human Rights, Article 1 for particulars.)

And for those who break it, there’s the dark side of the Golden Rule: What you do unto the “Goyim,” (all non-Jews) the Goyim will one day do unto you.

Unarmed Palestinians gathered again at the barbed wire fence of their prison in Gaza on Nakba Day, May 15, and Zionist snipers again shot, killed and injured them. In this spring’s “Right to Return March” gatherings, over 100 have been murdered, and thousands more injured to date.

We must honour and defend the courageous Palestinian people in every way as if this were happening to us. If not, it may happen to us some day. And we should go online and educate ourselves from all the BS.
