Hundreds of people were on hand for Clarenville’s Remembrance Day memorial this morning.

According to the Wesley Stringer, president of the Clarenville Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 27, it was the largest turn out yet.

With the 37 Combat Engineer Regiment, out of St. John’s lending some 75 soldiers to the march, Stringer said it was also the largest parade he’s seen.

The regiment spent time in the area over the last year conducting Igor repair work and jumped at the opportunity to participate in the ceremony.
