Announcement for Muskrat Falls and 5 Wing Goose Bay

At 2:00 p.m. Friday Novemeber 30th, Prime Minister Stephen Harper will make an announcement at 5 Wing Goose Bay.

He will be joined by Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence, Peter Penashue, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and President of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, with Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Darrell Dexter, Premier of Nova Scotia.

The announcements will be the government’s loan guarantee for the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric project as well as changes coming to 5 Wing.
