Strikers unbeaten in Challenge Cup soccer

Don’t look now, but the C.B.S. That Pro Look Strikers, doormats of the Molson Challenge Cup Soccer League the past two years, have yet to be beaten after three games this season.

The Strikers improved to 2-0-1 with a 2-0 win over the Canada Games team Wednesday night in C.B.S., with D’Arcy Bennett posting his second straight shutout.

Fauad Matnr and Daniel Quinn had the C.B.S. goals.

The Strikers opened the year with 2-1 upset of Holy Cross Saturday, and followed up with a scoreless tie with Mount Pearl.
