4A boys basketball championships underway

Gonzaga opened the event again O'Donel. There were four games schedule for today at Gonzaga, four on Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m., Saturday has six games including the two semi-final games on Saturday evening. Play begins at 9 a.m. All action will culminate with a championship winner following the final set for 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The Newfoundland and Labrador School Sport 4A boys basketball championships that will be held through Sunday at Gonzaga High School in St. John's are underway today.
A total of eight teams are vying for the top spot and include host Gonzaga, Holy Heart, Corner Brook, O'Donel, Fatima Academy, Mobile, Waterford Valley High and Prince of Wales Collegiate.
Play resumes Friday with four games starting at 9:30 a.m., Saturday features six games starting at 9 a.m. and Sunday's championship will begin at 11:30 a.m.
