Playing from modified tees, Pelley-MacHardy shot a 36 over the front nine at Blomidon, which plays at par 34 for men and women.

Matthew Bonnell of Blomidon had a 74, the top score among junior and juvenile male golfers, who played over the full 18 holes.

Bonnell was one shot ahead of provincial junior men’s champion Andrew Bruce of the Humber Valley Resort.

Andrew Parsons of Gander was the top juvenile with a 94, while a 53 carded by Katie Colbourne of Blomidon topped female competitors, who played over nine holes.

The Tour finishes its west coast portion today at the Humber River course in Deer Lake and moves to central Newfoundland next week.
