The Mount Pearl Blazers were thumped 12-0 by the Cardigan Clippers from P.E.I., settling for the silver medal at the four-team Atlantic 18-years and under AA baseball championship held over the weekend in Corner Brook.
The host Barons and Hants North Jays from Nova Scotia also took part in the event.
There were a number of Sportscraft-sponsored Baseball Newfoundland and Labrador provincial minor tournament held over the weekend.
