Dean Senior, a boom truck operator with Max Duffett & Sons Ltd., helps untangle the backstop mesh stretching across the homeplate and baseline areas at St. Pat’s Ball Park in St. John’s on Monday as workers from Windco Enterprises install the safety netting for the upcoming St. John’s Amateur Baseball season.

 The first senior-league games are scheduled for June 6, with the intermediate league set to begin the same week.
