Scott Goosney failed to surrender a hit or a walk in throwing a no-hitter in a Molson St. John’s Senior Baseball League game Wednesday night at St. Pat’s Ball Park.

The Shamrocks’ 10-0 win over Feildians went only six innings, but Goosney’s gem still goes in the books as a no-no. He struck out four batters.

Adam Lawlor (5.2IP, 9H, 10R, 9ER, 2BB, 4K, 1HB, 1BK) started for Feildians and was tagged with the loss. Jon Walsh (0.1IP, 1H, 0R, 0ER, 2BB, 0K) finished up.

Scott Stockley had a big game for the Shammies with three hits — pair of singles, double, RBI, run scored and stolen base.

In another game, the Knights shaded RMM Gonzaga Vikings 3-2.

Matt Sullivan (6IP, 7H, 2R, 2ER, 1BB, 1K, 3HB) pitched the win, and Noah Anderson (1IP, 0H, 0R, 0ER, 0BB, 1K) came on for the save.

Dan Connors (7IP, 7H, 3R, 1ER, 0BB, 8K, 2HB) was tagged with the loss.

Greg Sharpe had a pair of hits for the winners, and Bernie Madden had three in a losing cause.
