Healey makes history again

Healey, who plays for Feildians in the St. John’s Molson intermediate baseball league locally, suited up for Canada at the 2014 Women's Baseball World Cup in Japan and this past summer she tossed a complete game one-hitter with four strikeouts to help lead British Columbia to a bronze medal at Baseball Canada's senior women's baseball invitational tournament in Saguenay, Que.

She also attended a national team selection camp ahead of last year’s Pan American Games in Toronto.

Joining Canada and the host Dominicans at the tourney are Mexico and Cuba.
