In one of two Molson St. John’s intermediate league games at the venerable field, Game On Gear and the Roebothan McKay Marshall Republic both got into double figures in runs as Waterford Valley-based Game On prevailed 15-10.

In the other, Lafontaine Club blasted the C.B.S. Storm 16-0 in a game abbreviated to five innings.

In Game On’s win, Andrew Kelly drove in four runs and scored two more to lead his side offensively, Isaac Power had four RBIs — three coming on a home run — for RMM.

Trevor Hefferan of RMM (4-10) and Ryan Noftall of Game On (6-9) homered, while Stephen Dobbin scored three runs for the victors.

Reliever Jordan Noftall picked up the pitching win for Game On which rallied late, while Hefferan, who also came in on in relief, suffered the loss.

In its lopsided win, Placentia-based Lafontaine (10-4) got a grand slam home run from winning pitcher Johnny O’Reilly and three runs each from Sheldon Keefe and Nick Pittman.

O’Reilly also turned in a big performance on the mound, allowing just one hit to Austin Dawe and striking out 13.

Marcus Pittman took the loss for the Storm (5-9).
