.This time, it was produced by OMT Shamrocks lefthander Greg Barry, who allowed only one hit and two walks as the defending champions blanked the Fifth Ticket Feildians 10-0.

Even though the 2017 St. John's senior season is less than a week old, the Shammies' three games to date have all featured tremendous efforts by a starting pitcher.

In the league's season-opener last Thursday, the Green and Gold were the victims of a no-hitter by Dan Connors in a 2-0 loss to RMM Gonzaga Vikings. On the weekend, Matt Murphy of the Shamrocks tossed a one-hitter in a 6-0 whiteashing of the Knights.

Tuesday night, Barry (6K) got the win over the Feildians starter Mike Delaney, who gave up nine runs, five of them earned, in six innings of work.

Trevor Clarke had two RBIs for the Shamrocks (2-1), who didn't have a single batter strike out on the night. Grant Vincent had the lone hit for the Double Blues (0-2).

In Tuesday's other game at St. Pat's, the Vikings downed Holy Cross Trinity Pub Crusaders 12-8.

Scott Hynes got the win over Holy Cross starter Mike Glynn, who didn't make it through the third inning.
