The event determines which team will challenge the defending champion St. John’s Capitals for the provincial senior A title.

The four teams are the Pasadena Pirates, Mount Pearl Blazers, Peak Performance Training Gander Pilots and host Corner Brook Barons, who lost to the Capitals in last year’s senior A final.

After a single round robin, the championship game featuring the top two finishers will be played either Sunday morning or early afternoon, depending on whether a tie-breaker is required.
