St. John's intermediate baseball: Trio of Shammies hurlers combine on one-hitter in win over Feildians

Three OMT Shamrocks pitchers combined on a one-hitter and Graham King drove in two runs as the Green and Gold downed the Sundance Feildians 8-3 in St. John’s Molson intermediate baseball Wednesday night at St. Pat’s Ball Park.

It was a seventh win in eight results this season for the first-place Shammies.
Starter Cody Colbert (3.2IP, 1H, 5W, 2K) surrendered the three Feildians runs before giving way to relievers Dylan MacKenzie (2.1IP, 1W, 3K) and Jaxson Gulliver (1IP, 2W, 3K)
Peter Walker took the loss, giving up five runs, but just two of them earned.
Greg Delacey had the only hit for Feildians (3-7).
In Wednesday’s other intermediate league contest, the Rona Storm downed the Knights 4-1.
Daniel Hogarth hit two triples for the Storm (5-5). He also pitched three innings of one-hit relief. Another reliever, Isaac Doyle, got the win despite giving up the only run to the Knights (5-5).
Three Storm pitchers, including starter Tyler Hennessey, scattered five hits.
Knights starter Zach Noseworthy gave up just a single earned run, but took the loss.
