It was one off two lopsided decisions at St. Pat's Tuesday. In the other, the OMT Shamrocks downed Holy Cross Trinity Pub 10-1.
Both games were shortened to five innings by virtue of the league's mercy rule.
In the win by the Shammies, starting pitcher Matt Murphy (5H, 1W, 4K) earned the decision, going four innings, while Scott Gossney tossed a scoreless fifth.
Losing pitcher Gerry Stone had three hits for Holy Cross (2-8), while Andrew Stockley did the same for the Shamrocks (8-2), driving in two runs.
In the romp by Feildians (3-5), it was Curran (1H, 0W, 4K) who picked up the win with two innings of scoreless relief work. Brewer (3H, 2W, 6K) had pitched the first three frames.
Keith Pomroy took the loss for the winless Blazers, who got three of their four hits from Zach Noseworthy. Keegan Spurrell had two hits and drove in two runs for the Double Blues.
