St. John's senior baseball: Storm, Holy Cross hit double digits in Wednesday wins

The Rona Storm and Holy Cross Crusaders both rolled 11s in St. John’s Molson intermediate baseball play at St. Pat’s Ball Park Wednesday night.

The Storm beat the OMT Shamrocks 11-6, while Holy Cross trimmed the Gonzaga Vikings 11-4.
Tyler Hennessey reached base four times — on two singles and two walks — and drove in three runs to lead the Storm offensively, Isaac Doyle (4IP, 5H, 2R, 1W, 4K) got the win in relied of starter Daniel Toope (3IP, 4R, 1W, 3K)
Starter Dylan Mackenzie took the loss for the Shamrocks, who got two hits from Parker Gulliver.
In Holy Cross’s win, David Edwards (7IP, 8H, 3W, 5K) went the distance on the mound for the Crusaders, while Allan Saunders  took the loss.
Phil Edwards had three singles and there RBIs for the Crusaders while Nathan Milley had two hits and drove in two runs for the Vikings.
