Memorial Sea-Hawks in U Sports men's curling final this afternoon


The Memorial Sea-Hawks will play in the U Sports Canadian men’s curling championship final this afternoon.

Memorial, with skip Adam Boland, third Stephen Trickett, second Zach Young and lead Evan Kearley, will take on the Alberta Golden Bears in the gold-medal game this afternoon. The Sea-Hawks got the berth by defeating the University of Regina 8-7 in semifinal play this morning.
The Boland rink is undefeated in Thunder Bay with eight wins, including an 8-6 win over Alberta in round-robin action. The Golden Bears are skipped by Thomas Scoffin, who won the national university title in 2015 and was runner-up at the 2013 Canadian junior men’s championship.
