A well-rested Colin Walsh allowed only a pair of hits, and struck out 11 hitters as 3 Cheers Bud Light Dodgers advanced to the St. John’s Molson Senior Men’s Softball League final with a 6-0 win over Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs Sunday.

The Dodgers took the best-of-five semifinal 3-1, and will now play NTV Hitmen in the best-of-seven final series which starts 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lions Park.

The Bulldogs were the five-time defending champs.

Walsh helped his own cause with two hits. Ryan Kirk also had two hits, including a two-run home run.

Gary Bruce and Jon Kelly had the only Kelly’s Pub hits.

Game 2 of the final goes Thursday at 6 followed by Game 3 1 p.m. Saturday. Game 4 is slated for 1 p.m. Sunday. The remaining games, if necessary, are to be determined.

All games are at Lions Park.
