The East Coast Senior Hockey League and Central West Senior Hockey League get their first taste of interlocking play this weekend when the Southern Shore Breakers and Conception Bay Blues from the new East Coast circuit travel to central Newfoundland for a pair of games each against the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts and Gander Flyers of the Central West loop.

The East Coast league is comprised of the Blues, Breakers, St. John’s Capitals and Northeast Eagles. The third team in the Central West league is the Clarenville Caribous.

Each East Coast team will play three games in Central West for a total of 12 games this season.

Tonight, the Breakers are in Grand Falls-Windsor, and the Blues are in Gander. The teams switch up Sunday. Game times are 7:30 tonight and 1:30 Sunday afternoon in both venues.
