Holy Cross/Avalon Ford and C.B.S/Kirby United both posted lopsided wins in Breen’s Jubilee Trophy women’s soccer Thursday night.
Holly O’Neill scored three goals as Holy Cross downed St. John’s Under-17s 7-0. Julie Crocker, Jessie Noseworthy, Jenny Bent and Kate Hickey also scored for the winners, who received shutout goaltending from Jaime Crocker.
In the other game, Malorie Harris booted four goals, and Destiny Mitchell and Katie Joyce both scored a pair as Kirby blanked Mount Pearl 10-0. Bethany Hynes and Jamie King also scored.
