Feildians moved into first place in the Johnson Insurance Challenge Cup provincial men’s soccer league with a 4-0 win over Mount Pearl ProActive Phyiso Wednesday night at King George V Park in St. John’s.
The result vaults Feildians into top spot, two points ahead of the C.B.S. That Pro Look Strikers, who have a game in hand.
At KGV, Emmanuel Dolo scored what would stand to be the game-winner late in the first half, while Thomas Osmond, Tiuru Lomond and Aaron Buckingham also tallied against the young Mount Pearl squad, still looking for its first win of the 2018 season.
Braeden Sheppard of the Double Blues posted the shutout.
