Fewer picks up where he left off

Colin Fewer, who enjoyed a banner 2017 with a record 10^th Tely 10 title, placed fifth in the Toronto Scotiabank half-marathon and had a top showing in the national 5K championship, is off and running in 2018 with a noteworthy showing in Houston over the weekend.

Fewer, from Paradise, was 54^th overall in the Chevron Houston half-marathon with a personal-best time of 1:06.51.

Fewer was the eighth Canadian across the finish line, was second overall in his 40-44 age group, and was just 18 seconds shy of the Canadian men’s masters record, held by his coach, Steve Boyd.
