Bally Haly latest stop on Tely Junior Tour

Nathan Young of Clovelly Golf enjoyed a four-stroke victory for the juvenile boys (13-15) title, while Gavin Connors of Clovelly hung on for a one-stroke win in junior boys (16-18) play at the Bally Haly Junior Invitational Monday, the latest stop on the 2018 Tely Junior Golf Tour.

In bantam boys play, Evan Snow of Gander Golf Club carded a 45 over nine holes for the win.

Ethan Efford and Evan Mitchell of Bally Haly had identical scores of 84 in juvenile boys. Efford was awarded second place through the retrogression process with Mitchell claiming third.

Clovelly’s Michael Simms finished one stroke behind Connors in junior play, with Evan D’Angelo third with a 79. As for Snow, he won the bantam age group by four strokes over Lucan Meade of Clovelly, while Nicholas Reid of Terra Nova Resort placed third with a score of 60.

In the bantam girls division, Sanjana Gullipalli of Clovelly carded a 45 to take top spot, while Abigail Snow of Gander Golf Club placed second with a score of 88. Taylor Cormier of Blomidon Golf Club received an award in the junior girls division with a score of 83.

The next event on the 2018 Tely Junior Tour is the Gatorade Junior Masters at Clovelly today.
