The Newfoundland Growlers, the newest entry into the ECHL and set to begin play this season, unveiled their jerseys Tuesday morning at Harbourside Park in downtown St. John’s.

With team CEO Dean MacDonald and recently-signed defenceman James Melindy of the Goulds modelling the new duds, the jerseys are a predominantly white and black road and home uniform.

With the Growlers logo, both jerseys also don commemorative inaugural season patches on their shoulders.

The colour scheme is white, black and creme.

Jerseys are available for preorder at shop.nlgrowlers.com.

The Newfoundland Growlers open their inaugural season Oct. 12 against the Florida Everblades at Mile One Centre.

Single-game tickets range from $15-$25, while season tickets are going for $540 to $900.
