Liam Hickey is about to achieve a rare feat.

The para hockey player from St. John's is part of the Canadian men's sledge hockey team that is competing at the 2018 Paralympic Games in Pyeonchang, South Korea.

Canada’s first game is against Sweden (6:30 a.m. Saturday NT) and when Hickey hits the ice, the forward will officially become one of those rare athletes who has participated in both Summer and Winter Games.

The soon-to-be 20-year-old (his birthday is March 25) played for Canada in wheelchair basketball at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
