The Penney Mazda St. John’s Junior Hockey League has announced the lineups for the circuit’s 17th All-Star game, set for 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Jack Byrne Arena in Torbay.

The two competing teams are named in honour of past presidents; the Avalon side will go by Team Taylor, for Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador junior hockey chair Gerry Taylor, while the City team will be known as Team Tobin, for past president Bern Tobin.

Team Tobin, made up of players from the Avalon Roebothan McKay Marshall Capitals, St. John’s Hickman Automotive Group Caps, Mount Pearl Mark’s Blades and Northeast Pizza Delight Aberdeen Celtics, consists of forwards Ben Cleary, Andrew Paul, John Snow (Avalon), Graham Oldford, Tyler Bennett, Alex Snow (Northeast), Joey Trenholm, Grant Nolan, Jason Michaude (St. John’s), Grant Thompson, Chad Thompson, Bobby Upshall (Mount Pearl); defenceman Matthew Caines, Ben Marshall (Avalon), Scott Cahill (Northeast), Josh Thornhill (St. John’s), Stephen Predham, Bradyn Brown (Mount Pearl); and goaltenders Brandon Short (Northeast) and Jordan Ryan (Mount Pearl).

Team Taylor includes players from the Southern Shore C&W Offshore Breakers, Trinity Placentia I.J. Smith Home Building Flyers, CBR Assante Wealth Management Renegades and C.B.N. MoorFrost Stars.
