The Mount Pearl Blades got two goals each from Brady Normore, Adam Nolan and Daniel Toope to maintain their winning ways Sunday night, improving to 18-1 on the year with a 10-6 decision over the CBR Renegades in St. John’s Junior Hockey League play.

At the C.B.S. Arena Saturday night, the homestanding CBR Renegades defeated St. John’s 8-3 on two goals each from Andrew Barron, Tyler Wall and Lucas Lush.

Friday night, at the Southern Shore Arena, the C.B.N. Stars got a goal from Michael Mason at 1:56 of overtime for a 6-5 win over the Breakers.

Ryan Williams had two goals for the winners, and Ryan Dawson collected three assists. Shayne Kavanagh had two goals and two assists in a losing cause.

Because both registered goaltenders with the Stars were unavailable to play, C.B.N. borrowed the services of Redmond Hunt from the Caps. Hunt turned in an outstanding effort with 58 saves.
