The Mount Pearl Blades have set a torrid place in the St. John’s Junior Hockey League, but the CBR Renegades are doping their best in attempting to keep up.

The Blades (14-1-0), who have been pretty close to perfect this season, hold a three-point lead, with a game in hand, on the Renegades (11-2-3), who are coming off a 10-1 win over the Avalon Capitals Monday night at Goulds Arena.

Player of the game Nick David had a hat trick, while Blake Fudge and Lucas Lush each scored twice for CBR, which has won six straight games.
