The Trinity-Placentia Flyers and CBR Renegades both registered a win and a loss over the weekend in St. John’s Junior Hockey League play.

After getting thumped 8-2 by the Renegades Saturday night at the C.B.S. Arena, the Flyers rebounded for an 8-2 win over the Northeast Eagles Sunday afternoon at the Jack Byrne Arena.

In C.B.S. Saturday night, Lucas Lush had a goal and three assists for the Renegades. Blake Fudge had two goals and Michael Lawrence and Tyler Wall each collected three assists. … The Renegades weren’t so fortunate Friday night, losing 4-3 in a shootout to the Southern Shore Breakers at the Southern Shore Arena. Blake Dalton’s shootout goal proved to be the winner … At the Bay Arena Friday night, callup Kyle Tetford scored in overtime to give the C.B.N. Stars a 3-2 decision over the St. John’s Caps …
