Only three points separate the top four teams after weekend action in the Johnson Insurance Challenge Cup provincial men’s soccer league.

The St. Lawrence Laurentians played twice on a visit to the metro area over weekend, battling the league-leading C.B.S. That Pro Look Strikers to a 2-2 at Paradise the Topsail Turf Complex in Conception Bay South on Saturday and downing Paradise 5-1 Sunday afternoon at the Dianne Whalen Complex.
The results leave the Laurentians two points back of the Strikers and one in arrears of Feildians, who were idle on the weekend. St. Lawrence has played one more game than both those teams.
A point behind the Laurentians, and also with a game in hand, is defending champion Holy Cross, which blanked Mount Pearl Pro Active Physio 1-0 Saturday night at the Gushue Complex in Mount Pearl.
