Ottawa - So here’s the situation as we prepare for Brad Gushue’s Canadian Olympic Curling Trials game against Saskatchewan’s Steve Laycock coming up shortly at the Canadian Tire Centre:

Gushue is 4-2 and tied for second with Winnipeg’s Mike McEwen. McEwen is playing 2-4 Brad Jacobs of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. in the other men’s game tonight.

Each team plays eight round-robin games.
