Figure skater Grace Abbott is The Telegram sports department’s choice as athlete of the week.
The Mount Pearl-Paradise Figure Skating Club athlete won the E.C. (Ted) Withers Award for most outstanding performance at the provincial figure skating championship last weekend at The Glacier in Mount Pearl.
Abbott will be one of the province’s representatives at the Atlantic championship April 6-8 in Nova Scotia.
