Both the Bulldogs and Bigs completed three-game sweeps of their best-of-five semifinals Wednesday night at Lions Park.

The Bigs thumped the 3 Cheers Pub Bud Light Dodgers 7-1, while the Bulldogs blanked NTV Hitmen 6-0.

The Bigs used the long ball to beat the Dodgers, with Mike Noftall, Stephen Jesso and winning pitcher Mark Power each hitting two-run home runs.

Power (7IP, 1R, 7H, 1BB, 12K) got the win over Colin Walsh (7IP, 7R, 9H, 2HBP, 3BB, 10K).

Noftall finished the game with three hits. Jesso and Peter Kavanagh each had two. Tony Meade had a pair of hits in a losing cause.

Sean Cleary scattered three hits and struck out 13, and Blair Ezekiel had two hits, including a two-run home run, to pace the Bulldogs. Tyler Wall also had two hits and homered, his first career senior league dinger.

Robbie Greene (3IP, 4R, 4H, 3BB, 7K) started and was tagged with the loss. Lee Cose (3IP, 2R, 4H, 2BB, 1K) pitched in relief.

Liam Myers also had two hits for the winners.

Dates for the best-of-seven league final will be announced later.
