Eastbound, 2017 champion Wayne Walsh honoured at NASCAR Hall of Fame

The owners and management of Eastbound International Speedway and Concert Park in Avondale, along with Conception Bay South’s Wayne whose 99 team won the 2017 NASCAR Home Tracks Whelen All American Series Division I championship at Eastbound, were honoured Friday night in Charlotte, N.C., during the NASCAR Home Tracks Awards.

The ceremony at the NASCAR Hall of Fame highlighted 2017 Whelen champion drivers from across North America along with the tracks hosting the championship series.

The Whelen Series(Sportsman stock car) is one of a number of divisions of racing at Eastbound, the others being US Legends, Bandoloero and Hobby Stock.
