Levorson led the Sea-Hawks women's volleyball team to a three-match sweep of the Acadia Axewomen at the Field House in St. John’s over the weekend. In the three matches, the middle blocker from Cabri, Sask., had 23 kills, 10 blocks, seven service aces and nine digs while recording a .360 kill efficiency.
Memorial (8-3) is in second place in the AUS women’s volleyball standings (Dalhousie is 11-0) and earned an honourable mention in the latest U Sports national top 10 rankings.
Sutton finished fourth in the 100-kilogram weight division at the Brock University Open in St. Catherine's, Ont.
He had two match wins, a loss and a 14-14 draw in his final match, which was awarded to his opponent based on judged criteria. That left Sutton just off the podium.
