Mavericks stars Grace Bennett and Emma Power will be Sea-Hawks starting in the 2018-19 Atlantic University Sport season.
“I’ve had the opportunity to follow both of these girls for quite some time now, and I feel they bring a level of commitment and passion to the game of basketball that will help our program for years to come,” said coach Mark English.
Power is a 5-7 guard, while Bennett is a 6-2 post. Both played on the province’s Canada Games basketball team in Winnipeg last summer.
