The 300-page book covers the complete history of Holy Cross School, from 1890 onwards, the story behind the construction of all three schools in 1890, 1946 and 1973, the fire which destroyed the Patrick Street school in 1969, the history of the teachers who taught there, and the countless sports teams which won championships in an array of sports, most notably soccer, basketball and baseball.
The book has plenty of photos, including class pictures, photos of teachers and sports teams.
The book sells for $20, and is available at Twin Cities Imaging, 6 Campbell Ave., Monday thru Friday, and at the Basilica Book Store.
