Two of Newfoundland’s finest rugby stars will be in Canada’s starting lineup today against Spain in Madrid for the second test match and fourth game of Canada’s November international series.
Ciaran Hearn of C.B.S. and Patrick Parfrey of St. John’s will start at inside centre and outside half for Canada. Both also started against Georgia last Saturday, a 54-22 Canada loss.
Today’s game marks only the second time Canada and Spain meet in a men’s international test match. Canada won the first game, 60-22 seven years ago.
After today’s game, Canada travels to Narbonne, France for a game against Fiji Nov. 25.
Canada begins World Cup qualification play the end of January with a game against Uruguay at BC Place in Vancouver.
