Two days, 11 divisions, 18 tiers, 30 courts, 170 teams.

Two dozen convenors, 80 officials, 350 coaches, approximately 2,000 spectators and over 2,300 athletes.

Those are some of the numbers associated with Beresford Ltd. VolleyFest 2017, the Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association event beginning Friday in St. John’s and vicinity.

The entry-list of 170 teams means VolleyFest continues to be largest school-based volleyball tournament in Canada .

The primary venues for the event are the NL Sports Centre for junior high divisions and the Memorial University Field House for senior high divisions. Bell TV will be webcasting and live-commentating matches from those two facilities.
