The 1989 RNC Lakeshore Homes crew, the first Royal St. John’s Regatta team to break the nine-minute mark with an unofficial 8:58, got together at Quidi Vidi Lake Friday.

The get-together came 30 years after the crew won the first of three straight championships. RNC Lakeshore Homes is part of the Royal St. John’s Regatta's Hall of Fame.
