Newfoundland and Labrador tennis players won five of the 10 singles divisions, and two of the five doubles titles at the Atlantic indoor tennis championship held over the weekend at the Greenbelt Tennis Club in St. John’s.

Aiden Drover-Mattinen and Jasmine Rahman both won two titles, in under-16 and U18 play. In addition to that, Drover-Mattinen was part of the boys’ U18 championship doubles team with Thomas Wallace of Nova Scotia.
Liam Drover Mattinen was the other singles champion from Newfoundland and Labrador, in the boys’ U14 division.
The other doubles championship team from this province was Declan Walsh and Mark Bienkowski in U10 play.
Newfoundland won more titles than any other Atlantic province. Nova Scotia won four singles gold medals and P.E.I. won a single crown.
