The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA) has released final rankings for the Hall of Fame Cup (Elite Eight) high school basketball championships to be held later this month in St. John’s.

On the female side, the St. Kevin’s Mavericks top the rankings, while the Holy Heart Highlanders are the No. 1 male seed.

Six schools — Holy Heart, Gonzaga, Waterford Valley, Mobile. Corner Brook and O’Donel — have entries in both the female and male tourneys.

Here are the final rankings, for the championships, which will be held Feb. 16-18 at the Provincial Training Centre:
