What is the largest provincial adult volleyball event in the country begins today in central Newfoundland.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association has 125 teams entered in the Molson senior provincial championships, with over 2,300 athletes, coaches, officials and conveners involved in competitions in 14 different divisions, male and female, divided into three tiers (A, B and C) .
Games, which begin this afternoon are being played on 21 courts in Glovertown, Gambo, Gander, Glenwood, Lewisporte, Botwood and, for the first time, Clarenville.

At the end of the competition, the annual Molson senior provincial party, a 19-plus event, will take place at Hotel Gander.
