Kirk Wells had a night to remember in the St. Pat’s Tuesday Night 10-Pin Bowling League this week, recording a 245, the highest single-game score registered at St. Pat’s since it started offering 10-pin bowling.
The previous all-time high for a 10-pin game at St. Pat’s was a 236. The previous high for the league this season was a 224, rolled by Wells’s teammate, Adam Hall.
For those wondering, a perfect game in 10-pin in 300, meaning Wells, who hails from Northern Arm, near Botwood, was just off the mark.
It’s believed Wells’s score was the highest attained in 10-pin bowling in Newfoundland since the days of the 10-pin lanes on the old Argentia Naval Base.
