Canada Games team unbeaten in Jubilee trophy soccer

The Canada Games team won’t participate in the Breen's Jubilee Trophy women’s soccer playoffs.

The rest of the league might be happy about that.

The Games team, which is competing on an exhibition basis, remains unbeaten in Jubilee play after playing defending champion Holy Cross Avalon Ford to a scoreless tie at King George V Park Wednesday night.

Sydney Walsh had the shutout for the Games team (3-0-2), which remained a point ahead of Holy Cross (3-1-1). Sarah Wicks had the shutout for the Crusaders.
