All are from this province, including Happy Valley-Goose Bay native Mitchell Barry, a striker who scored a total of eight goals for the Canada Games Team and Mount Pearl in provincial senior men’s Challenge Cup play last year.
The other four are also part of the 2017 Canada Games team program.
They are six-five centre back Thomas Osmond (PWC/Feildians AA), defender Riley Bennett (O’Donel HS/Mount Pearl SA), centre back David Goulding (Holy Heart HS/Feildians AA) and six-two goalkeeper Jack Haywood (Gonzaga HS/St. John’s SA).
Goulding and Haywood are the sons of two former Sea-Hawks soccer players, Ian Osmond and Richard Haywood.
