Holy Cross opens its defence of Jubilee Trophy crown with a win

It was a matchup of the same two organizations, but unlike Sunday’s Challenge Cup season-opener it was Holy Cross coming out on top as the Jubilee Trophy provincial women’s league began its 2018 season at King George V.

Holy Cross enters the 2018 season as the two-time defending champions. Two years ago, the Crusaders didn’t lose a game, and last year, registered only one setback.
Next action in the Jubilee Trophy league is next Monday, June 4, when Holy Cross plays in Mount Pearl at 7 p.m., while the St. John’s under-17s and Feildians meet 7 p.m. at King George V.
