Taylor displayed strong performances on both ends of the field this past weekend in Nova Scotia as the Sea-Hawks were shut out and played to a scoreless draw.
“Lauren was a positive influence in two difficult matches this weekend, and she showed good consistency and poise as a rookie,” said coach Mike Power. “Lauren's work rate and determination helped her contribute at both ends of the field.”
O’Brien was solid on the Sea-Hawks’ back line against a pair of U Sports Top 10 opponents — Cape Breton and St. Francis Xavier.
“Michael was solid defending all weekend long,” coach Jake Stanford said. “Cape Breton and St. FX are both highly skilled up front and Michael was a standout for the team in both games.”
